My name is Alexandria and I am relatively new to the Tampa Bay area. After graduating from Stony Brook University on Long Island, NY (where I spent my whole life) I packed up and moved down here last January to begin a career with Raymond James Financial. After rotating through a few different departments and meeting many extraordinary people (including several incredible women on this team), I will be starting at Eagle Asset Management in June as a credit analyst. Outside of work I love to laugh, be outdoors, play with my three Siamese cats (Myki, Suki, and Man), and go to Disney World. In fact, I am such a Disney nut that last October I decided to get married there to my wonderful husband Marc.
The Disney fan in me is undoubtedly related to my amazing Aunt Jo, a two time cancer survivor! Since I was little she always kept me and my sister entertained and taught us to believe in Disney magic. When faced with breast cancer in 1992 she survived with strength coming from love and laughter (maybe a little Disney magic too). Nearly thirteen years after being breast cancer free, she was diagnosed again, this time in the other breast. Like their first run in, Aunt Jo was the winner and would not let this disease beat her. I walk in honor of my aunt. If she can go through chemo, radiation, and all of the discomfort that comes from breast cancer and survive, I can complete this 60 mile journey to help spread awareness, promote early detection, and raise money to fight breast cancer.
Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer!
