My name is Laetitia, Tish, or Tishy (but please not "Trish"!). I hail from the West Coast, specifically Southern California, but I suppose I'm nearly a St. Pete native having matriculated from Eckerd College and lived in the area for the past 6 years. My only family in Florida are my two four-legged "children" Giovanni and Sake who provide me with an endless source of mischief. I work at Raymond James Bank as a Corporate Credit Analyst and love my job! Being around great people 10 hours a day doesn't hurt either!
I have been fortunate to not have had a personal encounter with breast cancer via friends or family and I am walking to fight this ugly disease and make sure I never have to. One day this past "winter" (here in Florida we use that term loosely), while walking over 3 hours together, a good friend of mine and I decided that if we could walk that long and barely notice then why couldn't we walk for something more important? Thus, the idea of doing the 3-day was broached and now one week shy of "officially" starting to train for the walk, I know this journey will be worth every step.
