The first official team walk is this Saturday, June 20th and will be 6 miles. We will be walking from the Safety Harbor Spa on the Ream Wilson Trail. We will start walking at 8 am - which is probably the last time you will get to start walking that late. But we need to make sure everyone starts getting use to walking in the heat of the day. Not sure if everybody has seen this article or not. A 10 year-old girl has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Yet another reason why we are all walking. Please pass this information on to any of your friends who have little girls: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,520190,00.html

And PLEASE follow Sheila's urging to update your information on the team website. It's a great place to send donors or potential donors to give them an idea of what our teams are all about.

Hi All,

Here’s the skinny on the May social. Since we’re “gearing” up to start training let’s get together and talk about gear, training and BODY GLIDE!! We have an ole saying on the 3-Day… “Body Glide is your friend!!”

As captain of the SOB's again this year it is my honor and privilege to write a blog about our team and our activities. We currently have 13 active SOB members with 7 first time walkers. Most of the new folks were recruited by the strong arm tactics of Annette Kinsell. Way to go Annette!

We're still actively recruiting because we would really like to hit the magic number of 20. That would be awesome because that's how many pink hard hats I just ordered today. Frederick has dared one(...)
